I really enjoy teaching Biblical Studies. It's a privilege to do something that combines my interests (like languages, history, literature...) and my faith, as well as spend time with other people who are also on journeys of discovery.

I am married to Peter, who is an Anglican minister, and  we worship as a family in the Anglican Parish of Stirling on Sundays. I also worship regularly at Pilgrim Uniting Church, and this year I have been selected to be a candidate for the Ministry of the Word in the Uniting Church (April 2009). I am undertaking some further formation and training through Uniting College, and will continue to teach, primarily in the degree program offered through Flinders Uniting School of Theology.

1998 'An Earth Bible Reading of the Lord's Prayer', presented as part of the launch of the Earth Bible Project at 'Beyond 2000: Theological Education in an Ecumenical, Global and Plural Context', ANZATS Conference, Melbourne, July 1998, and at 'Just Future' Conference, Dunedin, New Zealand, August/September, 1998. This article prompted an interview with Margaret Coffey for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, which was broadcast nationally in August as part of the Religion Report.

2000

Hope for the new millennium: a Lenten study for the year 2000, co-authored by Dr. V.S. Balabanski, Bishop Michael Putney, Rev. Dr. James McEvoy, Rev. Dr. Duncan Reid, for publication in English, Vietnamese and Italian. (Promoted for use by the National Council of Churches, Australia, in Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia and New South Wales).
