A warm welcome
An open community
A valuing of your journey
A willingness to search
A centre of worship
A space to learn, laugh and grow

The College community offers friendship and support throughout your time here. We come from diverse backgrounds and cultures, each bringing our own varied experiences of faith and life. We value being an inclusive and accepting community.

We are a recognised faith community within the Uniting Church. As well as informal opportunities to chat and gather during the week, every Wednesday is Community Day.

We meet for a weekly Chapel Service with Holy Communion at 12.15 - 1.00 pm each Wednesday afternoon.

Chapel is followed by a BYO lunch in the ACD student common room.

Each Wednesday afternoon there is a program consisting of formation groups and colloquium times from 1.30 - 3.30 pm.

Formation Groups are an opportunity for students to meet regularly in a small group with one or two faculty members - for encouragement and support, spiritual reflection and guidance. This is a place to get to know people and to find space to reflect on your own spiritual journey.

The Colloquium is a regular opportunity for conversation with a guest - usually around a theme relating the faith, the church, ministry and mission. Previous colloquia have included topics such as creative worship, indigenous issues, hospital chaplaincy, and childrens ministry.

For further information, please see the Uniting College Google Calendar in Quick Links.

College staff and faculty are available to meet with students as requested.

We also live, learn and work within the wider ecumenical community of the Adelaide College of Divinity.
