Landscape of DesireThe series of events includes a multi-sensory interactive art space at Pilgrim UC exploring spirituality, curated by Jonny Baker (UK) and Cheryl Lawrie (AUS). Titled "The Landscape of Desire", it is an activity of the Adelaide Fringe Festival. Tuesday 9th -Friday 12th March, 7.30-9.30pm, Thursday 11th March, 12.00-2.00pm. Free admission.

Two lunchtime conversations about Imagination, Spirituality and Culture and a session for chaplains and pastoral workers called "Worship Beyond the Fringe".

Our prophets are often artists, poets and musicians, opening windows to the sacred, exposing the frailty of being human, and envisioning a new creation - a world being re-birthed
into wholeness. Spirituality and imagination seem inextricably linked, for faith and hope require openness to the unknown, leaps of intuition, and unlikely trust.

Rather than seeing a life-giving spirituality as other-worldly, these sessions explore how we discover
and express our spirituality within contemporary culture, in our local contexts.  How might we as individuals and as the church respond to the transforming activity of a God who is deeply present in all of life?

These events are sponsored by the Uniting College for Leadership & Theology in association with Pilgrim Uniting Church and CitySoul.

Participants may register for the full program or for each day. Some sessions may be attended on an individual basis. See the registration form for details.

This program can be undertaken for credit towards an MMin through enrolment with the Adelaide College of Divinity.
