2013 Charismata Resource Days

Uniting College along with other Uniting Church leaders have been holding charismata resource days. This follows a resolution at the November Presbytery/Synod meeting in 2011 to find ways that Uniting Church people can better understand and use charismata in the life and mission of the church.
There are two days planned for 2013:

Friday 31 May

9.30am-3.00pm
Burnside City Church

We are planning a Charismata Resource Day for May and are excited that Barry Chant has accepted our invitation to visit SA, and will be the speaker that day. His topic is ‘Using First Century Gifts in a 21st Century Church’.
The day will follow a similar format to other charismata resource days, with worship and teaching in the morning, lunch together (BYO or purchase), and the use of gifts in the afternoon.
In order to meet some of the costs involved in this day, we ask that people with a wage/salary/stipend pay $10 to attend.
We hope that the Friday will not disadvantage those coming across to Adelaide from further afield.

Please pass the word around! Share a link to this page, or join the event on facebook and invite your friends.

Friday 16 August

There will be further information soon about another resource day planned for August 16.

Enquiries can be directed to Rev Dr Vicky Balabanski.
